Daniel R. Hershberg, P.E. & L.S., Managing Partner

Dan graduated Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1962 and worked for one year in Montclair, NJ for Goodkind & O’Dea designing bridges. Since 1963 he has been associated with Hershberg & Hershberg and its predecessor firms. He became a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in 1968 and a Licensed Professional Engineer in 1970. Dan is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, the New York Society of Professional Engineers, the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping and the National Society of Professional Surveyors.. He has been a presentor for a number of professional seminars on survey and approval processes as well as stormwater management.  50 Years

Abraham F. Sofer, R.A., Partner

Avrum was educated in Israel. He graduated from Histadrut Architecture Training School in 1965. Avrum was employed at other firms for 9 years before coming to work for Hershberg & Hershberg in 1974. He became a Registered Architect in 1984 and is a Member of the American Institute of Architects.  In 1987 Avrum became a partner in the firm.  38 Years

Francis G. McCloskey, P.L.S., Partner

Frank Graduated Paul Smith's College with an Associates Degree in Land Surveying & Forestry in 1976). He became a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in 1981. Frank joined Hershberg & Hershberg in 1986 after 9 years of experience with other firms. He is a member of the Eastern New York Society of Land Surveyors. In 1987 Frank became a partner in the firm.  27 Years
